Cecil Lockett has been selected as the 2022-2023 Tulsa Virtual Academy Support Employee of the Year!
Cecil has worked at Tulsa Public Schools for 25 years and has been at Tulsa Virtual Academy for almost one year as the head custodian. His day starts at 6:30am to ensure staff, teachers, and students have a clean environment to walk into.
He said his favorite part about his job is leaving the school building at the end of the day knowing he did good work.
